Dwandwa was introduced as a combat sports promotion in India a few years ago. The Indian used to organize and promote this Dwandwa sports as a combat sports i.e. professional Dwandwa event. The rule of Dwandwa was that Connected to a table via their waists and with their left hands apparently taped together, two men in Dwandwa gloves desperately take swings at one another across the table while a referee looks on from the middle. As soon as the bells rang, both the Boxers used to strike each other dangerously with their right hand.

The referee judges the entire bout properly and scores the entire fight according to the rules. After this a few years ago, some changes were made to promote Dwandwa Sports in the whole world wide as an Amateur Sports and then this combat fights were converted into Martial Arts sports.
